The Sunnyslope Historical Society will celebrate its fall opening with a special presentation 12:30-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the The Sunnyslope Community Center, 802 E. Vogel Ave. The free event will be followed by tours of the museum, 737 E. Hatcher Road, from 3 to 5 p.m.

The special presentation, “Early Hispanic Families of Sunnyslope,” will look at how these early families became an important part of the Sunnyslope community. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, door prizes and music following the presentation. Vice Mayor Bill Gates is expected to attend.
