Fired Pie, which is turning the tables on your traditional pizza restaurant, recently opened its second location at Park Central Mall, 3110 N. Central Ave.

The fast-casual restaurant allows you to take on the role of chef by picking and choosing your own type of dough, sauce and topping. The pizzeria also offers build-your-own salads. If you want to leave the creativity to them, you can pick from one of their suggested items.

Fired Pie was born from the minds of Fred Morgan, Rico Cuomo and Doug Doyle. The trio worked together for more than 15 years, rising through the ranks of California Pizza Kitchen. They found themselves brainstorming about the art of making a great pizza pie: dough, sauce, cheese, fresh herbs, meats, local organic ingredients—and knew with the right precision they could become real game-changers in the pizza industry.
