Central Phoenix native and licensed aesthetician Jill Goldman has selected her home turf to launch her new business venture, Wax Appeal, a professional hair removal studio.

Goldman, 33, brings several years of industry experience to the corner of 12th Street and Maryland Avenue—just a stone’s throw from where she was raised.

“Ultimately, I decided on a North Central Phoenix location because of my close ties to the people of this neighborhood and my understanding of the demand for a business such as mine,” Goldman explained.

Located at 1202 E. Maryland Ave., Suite 1C, Wax Appeal offers waxing and electrolysis to both men and women, and has already attracted the attention of many, including Goldman’s previous clients from around the Valley.

“I’ve had clients from all four corners of the Valley visit my shop and many have remarked just how quaint—and cute—this area is,” Goldman said. “They love the local shops, the abundant restaurants, and the overall serenity of central Phoenix. I’m really proud to show off my roots.”
