The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) seeks nominations for its 2014 IMPACT Awards, which honor the accomplishments of outstanding Valley businesses.

Nominations, which can come from anyone in the community, are open until Jan. 8, and can be submitted through the chamber’s website at www.phoenixchamber.com/impact.

The 2014 IMPACT Business of the Year recipients—one nominee with 250 or fewer employees and one with more than 250 employees—will be selected from the category award recipients and announced at the 27th Annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon on May 15.

Through the IMPACT Awards, first bestowed in 1988, the Chamber recognizes local companies that demonstrate superior levels of success while maintaining extensive community involvement, that excel entrepreneurially, that have survived tremendous adversity or that contribute to the Valley’s economic vitality.

The GPCC encourages community members to nominate a deserving business, or even their own business, in the categories of Community Champion, Economic Driver, Entrepreneurial Excellence and Response to Adversity.

For more information and to access the nomination form, visit www.phoenixchamber.com/impact or contact Janelle Tassart at 602-495-6480 or jtassart@phoenixchamber.com.
