City seeks input on transportation future

The city of Phoenix has kicked off a public involvement process to get residents’ thoughts and opinions on transportation issues.

The city will spend several months talking to the community and learning more about needs related to bus, light rail, road infrastructure and complete streets elements. This feedback will be used to select future light rail corridors and identify future funding of transportation improvements.

As part of this planning process, residents will be able to participate in a variety of ways, including public meetings, outreach events, and online at www.talktransportation.org. The site allows residents to share their experiences and feedback on the system with city leaders.

Participants can make suggestions, communicate with each other online and post transit-related photos.
