The city of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department hosts a free movie, “Despicable Me 2,” 7 p.m. Friday, June 6 at Margaret T. Hance Park, 1202 N. 3rd St.
Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs. A craft/activity for youngsters will be coordinated by the Parks and Recreation staff prior to the movie.
Members of the Phoenix Fire Department will help visitors “cool down” the park. Be prepared to get wet and have a dry towel with you. Water, ice cream and hot dogs will be available for purchase.
