Three local charities will receive $1,000 or more as part of Dunn Orthodontics’ new charitable organization called Our HOPE Phoenix. How that money is distributed depends on the votes of the public.
Beginning Feb. 1, the three charities—Horses Help, Growing Together: A Giving Garden, and Relay for Life Central Phoenix—will be featured on the website: www.ourhopephoenix.org. People are encouraged to visit the website, learn about the three featured charities and vote for their favorite. The charity with the most votes will receive $5,000, second place will receive $3,000 and third place will receive $1,000.
“Not only do these charities receive the money, but thousands of people will learn about the good work these charities are doing,” says Dr. Matthew Dunn, a partner with Dunn Orthodontics. “Hopefully, some of these people will be inspired to either donate directly to that charity or volunteer their time.”
Last quarter’s winners were Arizona Camp Sunrise, Valley Youth Theatre, and Hope for Hypothalamic Hamartoma.
