Xena

Xena

Like the female television warrior, Xena is a fearless explorer of her environment. Xena is a typical Bloodhound, and this nosey 3-year-old insists on smelling every flower, shrub and tree during her mile walk each day. Afterwards, she will sniff around the yard and maybe sunbathe for a bit before heading inside to get cozy on her oversized dog bed.

She is housetrained, leash trained and serves as a great alarm clock each morning. She loves belly rubs and having her long hound dog ears rubbed.
Xena adores playing fetch in the backyard with the kids and has a blast playing tag with other fun-loving canines. She is the ultimate family companion.

Xena is available for adoption now at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope campus, located at 9226 N. 13th Ave. Her adoption fee is just $110 and includes her spay surgery and vaccines. For more information, call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal ID #A444140 or visit www.azhumane.org.

Xena may have been adopted by the time you reach the shelter, however, AHS has dozens of great family dogs awaiting their forever home. Go to the website for more information and to see photos.
