Great Food Good Neighbors (GFGN), a new television show highlighting local restaurants and business in Arizona, began airing earlier this year.

Lisa Acquafredda and Tray Goodman, both locals in the Valley, are the hosts of GFGN. “We want to highlight a local place that helps make Arizona great,” GFGN Co-host Lisa Acquafredda said.

GFGN takes you behind the scenes and into the kitchen to tell you why each location is known for its “great food.” Learn about each restaurant’s history, signature dishes, involvement in the community and more. What’s also unique is that GFGN is not limited to restaurants—so it can showcase other business owners who are all about promoting local.

All episodes of GFGN are produced by Skyline Productions, a local television production company that was established in 1991. The series will start as a 5-minute segment of AZTV’s Morning Scramble show beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursdays on Cox Cable Channel 13 or DIRECTV Local Channel 7. You also can live stream the show from www.aztv.com. GFGN hopes to turn the short segment into a 30-minute episode in the future.
