Encore University, a non-credit school that targets Baby Boomers and seniors, begins the first of three semesters in the 2014-15 year on Tuesday, Oct. 14 on the campus of Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. McDonald Drive.
A Back-to-School Kick-Off is set for 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 featuring food trucks, live Big Band music, registration and club sign-ups.
This year’s curriculum offer more than 40 classes including painting, piano, and WWII Reflections.
