The Arizona Humane Society’s 17th-Annual Pet Telethon is set for 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 on KTVK-3TV, local channel 3.

The two-hour telethon is filled with inspirational stories of survival, a special Hurricane Katrina 10-year anniversary tribute as well as the final results of the community’s efforts in the Summer to Save Lives campaign, which launched on July 6.

Viewers also will enjoy special celebrity guest appearances and watch the most adorable furry friends play until they’re pooped in the AHS live Puppy Pen and Kitten Corral. For more information, visit http://www.azhumane.org/summertosavelives/pet-telethon.
