Beth El Congregation offers a full calendar of events and activities each month, open to members of the congregation and the public at large. Upcoming events include Kosher Cooking Around the World with Suzanne Fuchs, 9:30-11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11. This is a kosher cooking class that will be held in the meat kitchen at Beth El, 1118 W. Glendale Ave. The course fee is $30 and includes all cooking supplies and food. Beth El Women’s League presents an evening at Art For Fun! Studio and Gallery, 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. Participants will create a fused-glass plate or bowl. Light refreshments will be served. Cost is $20 for Women’s League members and $22 for nonmembers. Art For Fun! Studio and Gallery is located at 3508 N. 7th St., Ste. 115.
