It has been a half century since the class of 1965 graduated from Central High School, and while some of them left the state after graduation, many former Bobcats stayed—and some even moved back later!

Class members are preparing to get together to reminisce about old times and to make new memories at the 50th High School Reunion of Central, set for 6-11 p.m. Saturday, May 2 at the Embassy Suites, 2630 E. Camelback Road. The event includes dinner and dancing, as well as a cash bar. Cost is $80 in advance and $85 at the door.

In addition, an informal Happy Hour will take place 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 1 on the patio of Aunt Chilada’s, 7330 N. Dreamy Draw Drive.

As a way to tie different generations of Bobcats together, three advanced photography students from Central High will be taking photographs during the reunion.
