Doggy Daze, a unique dog salon and retail store, is set to open April 1 in the Cinema Park Shopping Center, located at the northeast corner of 7th Street and Missouri Avenue.

Doggy Daze is the brainchild of Sean Kirk, the original creator and former owner of Smelly Dog, and his business partner, Jon Thompson. Like Smelly Dog, Doggy Daze is a full-service and kennel-free grooming salon with an emphasis focused on “walk-in” or “no-appointment-necessary” grooming. However, customers are welcome to make reoccurring appointments at will.

Every client will get nail clipping, ear cleaning, and sanitary cuts included in their grooming without any extra charge. Every dog will be bathed in a hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, towel dried to dampness and then hand-blown dried.

After the grooming process, each dog will then be placed in a supervised holding area until their parents pick them up. The entire grooming process is all done within two hours of drop off.

Doggy Daze will have a self-serve station for customers who wants to do it themselves, with the same high-quality products and will receive nail trimming and ear cleaning at no extra charge.

Customers also are invited to browse the salon’s high-quality dog foods and dog treats, as well as a variety of accessories that are available for purchase.

Hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call 602-626-5006 or visit them on Facebook at DoggyDazeAZ.
