It’s never too early to start planning what your kids will be doing this summer. Two events this month will offer an array of options for summertime fun.

The Kids Day Off Activity Showcase and Expo will take place 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Phoenix Convention Center, 100 N. 3rd St. Admission is free.

Families are invited to come out and play and gather information from local kid-friendly businesses. Learn all about activities for your kids to do over Spring Break, and visit a variety of booths with information about summer camps.

There will be free face painting and photos and live music and entertainment. More than $3,000 in prize giveaways will be awarded.

Register for camps at the event to take advantage of on-site deals. For more information, visit www.pbjevents.com.

Raising Arizona Kids magazine will provide Valley families with an “up close and personal” opportunity to learn about local day camps and overnight camps in Arizona, throughout the Southwest and around the country.

Camp Fair AZ is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at Tesseract School, 3939 E. Shea Blvd. Parents and children can talk directly with staff members from the various camps, ask questions and learn just how fun a summer camp experience can be. Admission is free.

Registration packets will be available for popular camps, which fill quickly. Some camps offer on-the-spot discounts on registration fees. Others bring hands-on activities to show kids what they can expect to do at camp. Find a list of participating camps at: www.campfairaz.com.
