Flower Child, Sam Fox’s healthy fast-casual restaurant, opened its third Valley location last month in the Uptown Plaza shopping center at Central Avenue and Camelback Road. Flower Child took over and revamped the space once occupied by Sweet Tomatoes.

Flower Child offers a wide selection of healthy options for lunch and dinner, with an emphasis on gluten-lite items. The heart of the menu is the “build-your-own plate,” where guests can mix and match nearly 300 different combinations of seasonal vegetables, fruits, and grains with or without their favorite protein. The menu also includes starters, hearty salads, whole grain wraps and bowls. In early 2016—and for the first time—the restaurant, at this location only, will be open for breakfast, offering coffee, breakfast wraps and bowls, seasonal scrambles and more.

For diners on the go, there is a convenient pick-up area for takeout orders and a fully stocked grab-and-go refrigerator.

The menu offers many options for vegans and vegetarians or those with a gluten-free diet. In fact, every dessert offered at Flower Child is gluten free.

Flower Child is located at 100 E. Camelback Road. Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Sunday. For more information and to view the full menu, visit www.iamaflowerchild.com.
