After 25 years in business, owner Don Weissmueller of Keegan’s Grill on Camelback has sold his restaurant to three longtime employees. The new owners—Ramsey Clark, John Coppetelli and Melissa Wheeler—have collectively been a part of the company for more than 60 years.

Weissmueller spent many years in the industry working for McDonald’s and the Big 4 Corporation before opening Keegan’s doors back in 1989, and it was a success from the start.

“After over 25 years owning Keegan’s, it was time for me to take some time to enjoy family and friends,” Weissmueller explains. “That decision was made easy when I was able to pass ownership along to some of the great people that helped build it. I couldn’t imagine going out a better way.”

“This has been a long-time dream for us all to be restaurant owners,” said Melissa Wheeler. “We are blessed to have such great customers that are like family to us and look forward to continuing to serve the Camelback Corridor community for many years to come.”

Keegan’s is located at 3114 E. Camelback Road. You can become a fan of Keegan’s on Facebook. For more information, call 602-955-6616 or visit www.keegansgrill.com.
