For many, the prospect of aging carries with it fusions, degenerative disk disease, osteoporosis, and other spinal injuries that make life more challenging. Because of our mostly sedentary lifestyles, our spines do not get the movement or the alignment they need in order to function properly.

Kinesphere Center for Movement Education offers Ageless Spine with Alex Papazian, 12-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. This workshop is designed to introduce gentle, healthful movement to your spine and back, thereby providing a basic understanding of correct alignment so that you can begin to take better care of your body, and mitigate pain. Cost is $35 if prepaid before Sept. 8, $40 after.

Then on Sept. 19, “Restore Your Spine’s Design” with Isabelle Barter. Learn how better breathing mechanics, improving spinal alignment, and awakening abdominal and hip musculature can restore your spine’s design. The class takes place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and includes a pair of Yoga Tune Up Therapy Balls. Cost is $35 if reserved by Sept. 15, $40 after.

Kinesphere is located at 711 E. Missouri Ave., Suite 180. For more information, visit www.kcme-az.com or call 602-532-3111.
