It is important to develop body, mind, and spirit, by developing skills and relationships that nourish all of you. Kinesphere Center for Movement Education offers workshops in April to help make those connections.

A “Head & Neck Workshop” with Lisa Thorngren will take place 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 10. Your head and neck are critical to your body’s overall health and function—the head as the control center of your body’s movement, sensation, thinking and communication skills, and the neck as a conduit for blood, oxygen and other nutrients and signals entering into and passing through the body. In this workshop you will learn the basics of head and neck anatomy and correct alignment, and participate in several exercises to strengthen, stretch and realign these areas for more optimal function and ease. Cost is $40. Sign up online at www.kinesphere-studio.com.

Genevieve Tregor, MS, hosts a free orientation meeting for her upcoming Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction series, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22. Learn mindfulness in the original structured and supported program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., for the Umass Medical Center. The program is designed to reduce stress and pain while improving focus, emotional balance and coping skills. Tregor will bring the eight-week MBSR group program (30 hours) to Kinesphere beginning Wednesday, April 29. Call/text 602-910-4240 to reserve your place at the free orientation.

Kinesphere Center for Movement Education is located at 711 E. Missouri Ave., Suite 180. For more information, visit www.kcme-az.com or call 602-532-3111.
