The Fall Plant Sale at the Desert Botanical Garden, Oct. 10-11, is a one-stop shopping experience featuring the largest variety of arid-adapted plants available in one location.

With more than 30,000 plants on-site, including cactus, succulents, trees, shrubs, groundcover, perennials, herbs/veggies and other oddities, this sale is the best way to start your gardening season. There will be many new plant introductions and unusual plants of all sizes, with an emphasis on plants for a butterfly garden. Specimen-sized plants and delivery services will be available.

Garden volunteers and staff horticulturists will be on hand to answer questions, assist in plant selections and offer advice. Members will receive a 10-percent discount on all purchases when they present their membership card. No admission charge to enter the sale.

The Desert Botanical Garden is located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway; the sale is in the events plaza. Hours are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Garden admission is extra. For additional information call 480-941-1225 or visit www.dbg.org.
