The 31st-annual F.Q. Story Holiday Home Tour & Street Fair is a two-day event featuring tours of charming homes and a street fair with local craft vendors who will have specialty items just in time for Christmas shopping.

The tour of homes begins on Saturday night, Dec. 5, with a holiday-inspired evening of Dickens’ Carolers and streets lined with luminarias and holiday lights. Enjoy the tour from 6-9 p.m.

In addition to touring homes on Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., visitors will enjoy holiday shopping while visiting dozens of craft vendors and food booths.

The F.Q. Story Historic District consists of 602 remarkable homes dating from the 1920s and features a mixture of architectural styles, including Spanish Colonial, Tudor Revival, English Cottage, Craftsman Bungalows, Spanish Colonial and Neoclassical. Tickets are required to tour the home interiors, but are not required to stroll the neighborhood and enjoy the street festival. This year’s tour features homes on Portland and Latham Streets. Tickets can be purchased the day/night of the event or online.

The ticket booth will be located at 11th Avenue and Portland. Parking will be on the neighborhood streets. The F.Q. Story Home Tour is a walking tour but there will be a trolley available in the neighborhood.

Tickets are $15, or $14 with a non-perishable food item donation. Visit http://hometour.fqstory.org for more information.
