The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) has selected 8 deserving local companies as recipients of its 29th Annual IMPACT Awards. The awards honor the accomplishments of small, large and nonprofit businesses and the positive effect they have on the Valley’s business community and economy.

Among the honorees in the Small/Medium Business Category (250 employees or fewer) is Melrose Pharmacy, owned by Teresa Stickler and located at 706 W. Montecito Ave. Melrose Pharmacy is receiving the “Entrepreneurial Excellence” IMPACT Award.

Stickler opened Melrose Pharmacy in 2005 with a commitment to offer unique services, care for patients, and a family-oriented approach. Melrose Pharmacy distinguishes itself with a focus on weight management, advancing women’s health through hormone replacement therapy and compounding, medication adherence, as well as common health and preventive practices.

In November 2014, Stickler was honored with the Innovation in Entrepreneurship Award from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

During the 29th Annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon, the 2016 IMPACT Businesses of the Year will be selected from these eight honorees and announced during the luncheon.
