The ASU College of Public Service invited the community to join its volunteers in cleaning up the Westwood Neighborhood, on Saturday, March 19. The area is located between Indian School and Camelback roads, and 19th Avenue and the I-17. This is a great opportunity to help out neighbors, get some exercise, and tackle blight and trash.

The volunteer breakfast and check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. at 4535 N 23rd Ave. There will be some opening remarks at 8 a.m., and volunteers set off at 8:15 a.m., with work wrapping up around 11:30 a.m.

Volunteers will receive a free ASU T-shirt and breakfast after checking in. The use of public transit is encouraged, as parking is limited at the check-in site. To pre-register, visit: http://tinyurl.com/jnyyzj4.
