Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill, 2121 E. Highland Ave., is opening at 9 a.m. for some of the major events of the 2016 Rio Olympics Summer Games, Aug. 5-21. All the events will be shown on 32 HDTVs throughout the bar, so wear your jersey, cheer for your favorite team and enjoy festive Brazilian specialty food and drinks.

Brazilian-themed specials include:

  • Rabanada, a Brazilian-style French toast dipped in a coconut milk custard, topped with melted butter, powdered sugar and coconut, served with bacon
  • Feijoada Breakfast Skillet, a traditional Brazilian beef and pork stew over rice in a sizzling skillet topped with a fried egg and served with a warm flour tortilla
  • Caipirinha, an authentic Brazilian cocktails made with traditional Pitu cachaça sugar cane liquor—the Caipirinha is Pitu cachaça, brown sugar and fresh lime.
