Uptown Farmers Market has joined forces with local restaurants, chefs and C-CAP AZ to host a Fall Chef Series at the market each Saturday this month, featuring a different chef from the Valley. These chefs inspire and educate by transforming seasonal Arizona products into delicious, simple tastes for the community.

Guest chefs include Matt Fenton from Tarbell’s on Oct. 1; Tony Rea of Pasta Rea on Oct. 8; Nick Mikolowsky of The Herb Box on Oct. 15; and Jeremy Pacheco and Joe Hobson of Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn on Oct. 22.

“This will be the third Chef Series held at Uptown Market, but it will be the first one held during the fall season,” says Bo Mostow, Uptown Farmers Market manager. “Our Arizona autumn planting season is so special—while most states are gearing up for cold weather and snow-covered crops, we are cranking out all the best fall has to offer.

“I am excited to see how they utilize these ingredients,” she adds.

Uptown Farmers Market is open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays on the grounds of North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 N. Central Ave., and beginning this month the Wednesday market returns from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Visit www.uptownmarketaz.com.
