Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital presents two free seminars in November about wound care, limb pain and abnormal heart rhythm. Both sessions will be in the Arizona Heart Foundation Building second floor classroom, 1910 E. Thomas Road.

“Do You Have Wounds That Won’t Heal or Experience Pain When Walking,” takes place 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. Participants will learn what conditions cause chronic wounds or wounds that are slow to heal, and advanced wound care treatment options. They also will hear about Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), its symptoms, risk factors and innovative limb saving procedures.

The next workshop is “You may have more control than you thought when it comes to your Atrial Fibrillation,” 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. Atrial fibrillation (A-fib) is the most common abnormal heart rhythm and may increase risk of stroke, heart failure and decrease quality of life. During this presentation, participants will learn about how the management of A-fib has advanced greatly in the past few years. They will hear about the symptoms, long-term prognosis, and new treatments from medications to revolutionary hybrid surgical procedures.  They will also learn how to reduce their risk for stroke.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. While the seminars are free, space is limited so reserve your seat at www.AbrazoHealth.com/HeartSeminar or by calling 855-292-9355.
