The Coronado Neighborhood Association hosts its annual Home Tour and Picnic in the Park, Sunday, Feb. 28.

Gather at Circle Park and enjoy food and picnic games surrounded by music, arts and crafts for the kids, a lively street fair, food trucks, homes open for tour and the Coronado Classic car and bicycle show. A Kids Parade sets off around Circle Park at 9 a.m., and the family festival continues until 4 p.m.

This year’s home tour, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will highlight the Country Club Historic District, one of three historic districts in the Greater Coronado neighborhood. Country Club Park earned historic designation in 1993 and has a history dating to 1888 when Charles Orme filed a homestead patent for the area.

Home tour tickets are $15. Children ages 4-12 pay only $5, and children ages 3 and younger admitted for free. The festival in Circle Park and the classic car show are free to enjoy. Pick up your wristband (your pass to the homes on tour) and Home Tour Guide at the ticket booths on each end of Circle Park, 10th Street and Windsor Avenue.

Coronado is a residential neighborhood, so you may park in front of any home throughout the area and walk to Circle Park. Do not block driveways.
