The Maricopa Community Colleges now offer senior citizens a 50-percent tuition discount at all 10 colleges across the Valley. Students must be at least 65 years of age at the time of enrollment and a resident of Maricopa County to receive the discount.

The senior citizen tuition rate for the 2016-17 fiscal year is $43 per credit hour for all courses and class audits with vacancies. Registration, course fees, non-credit courses, and clock-hour courses are not included in the discount.

Eligible students may enroll in or audit any credit course that has open seats after the first class meeting. There is no limit to the number of classes an eligible student can take at the discounted rate.

To register for courses at the discounted rate, eligible students must complete the Senior Citizen Tuition Rate form, submit it to a college Admissions, Records and Registration office, and show proof of eligibility. Tuition and fees are due at the time of registration.
