Gravity & Grace, a new dance studio for competition dancers as well as recreational dancers, recently opened at 9838 N. 19th Ave., Suite B.

Gravity & Grace originated as a competition dance team, moving into its new studio in October 2016. The studio owner, Karen Robinson, and faculty teacher, Kitti Stevenson, have more than 30 years combined competition dance experience.

The studio’s Teen and Senior Elite teams rehearse twice a week for competition, which also include technique classes. Dancers are required to have 3-4 years of competition experience and be able to demonstrate advanced level technique. G & G dancers also have the opportunity to take Master Classes, in addition to learning choreography for competition. A Junior team is being added this fall.

Gravity & Grace also is expanding its repertoire to include the recreational dancer. Classes will include Teen/Adult Pop-up Style, Beginning through Advanced levels in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Ballet, and Tiny Tykes for the preschool dancer (ages 3-5).
