Florence Crittenton holds open house

Each year, Florence Crittenton provides shelter, education, counseling and social support to nearly 1,000 girls, ages 10 to 21. Many of the at-risk girls and young women we serve are struggling with issues and challenges caused by poverty, abuse, neglect, crime and violence.

Florence Crittenton’s mission is to give every girl whose life the agency touches safety, hope and opportunity by providing them with the support, counseling, skills training and resources they need to become independent and successful adults in the community. Florence Crittenton offers innovative programs and services, including the Girls Leadership Academy of Arizona (GLAAZ), the first public single-gender charter high school in our state, and the Therapeutic Group Home, a safe-haven for girls ages 10 to 18 with on-site counseling.
