Italian feast enjoyed in an outdoor garden

Enjoy the Desert Botanical Garden’s scenery while sipping wine and dining al fresco on a customized menu during The Seasonal Table Dinner: West Coast California Italian, set for 6 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at the garden, 1201 N. Galvin Parkway.

The menu has been created by Florence, Italy-native Chef Gabriele Bertaccini of iL Tocco Food, and features four courses including house-made Nduja ravioli, a seared Niman Ranch filet, and an avocado chocolate mousse.

Enjoy entertainment by the Ioannis Goudelis Trio, performing jazz and European music, while you dine. Tickets are $160, all inclusive. Proceeds from this event benefit the garden’s education, research and conservation programs.
