Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital will present a free seminar from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 about chronic wound care and Peripheral Artery Disease.

The seminar will be in the second floor classroom at the hospital, 1930 E. Thomas Road. Participants will learn what conditions cause chronic wounds or wounds that are slow to heal, and advanced wound care treatment options.

They also will hear about peripheral artery disease (PAD), its symptoms, risk factors and innovative limb saving procedures.

There will be a question-answer session with vascular surgeon Venkatesh Ramaiah and Abe Farah, director of wound care at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital. Light refreshments will be served.
