Come learn about some of the causes of joint pain like arthritis and osteoporosis during a free program set for 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 at the John C. Lincoln Cowden Center, 9202 N. 2nd St.

This two-part lecture will include a physical therapist from HonorHealth Outpatient Therapy Services and orthopedic surgeon, Kenneth Schmidt, M.D.

Lacey Frankland, physical therapist, will discuss how therapy can be one option to help relieve pain. Schmidt will discuss the main causes of pain like arthritis and osteoporosis and how these conditions can affect your hips and knees. We will also discuss treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical for treating this pain.
