Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 15 presents a free seminar about the latest treatment options for congestive heart failure. The seminar will be from 6 to 7 p.m. in the second floor classroom at the hospital, 1930 E. Thomas Road.

Approximately 6 million Americans are living with heart failure, and that number is growing. In the United States, the number of deaths from this condition has more than doubled since 1979, averaging 250,000 annually, according to the Heart Failure Society of America.

Congestive heart failure symptoms, diagnosis and the latest treatment options including CardioMEMS HF System, a tiny implantable monitoring device that detects changes in heart pressure and alerts physicians so medication can be adjusted before patients experience symptoms, will be discussed. There will be a question-answer session with board-certified cardiologist Marwan Bahu.

Hot/cold packs will be available as supplies last. For more information and registration, call 844-813-5954 or go to www.AbrazoHealth.com/CHFClass.
