Alzheimer’s Support Group open to public

Fellowship Square Phoenix has launched a new program to not only aid its residents, but the surrounding community as well. The new Alzheimer’s Support Group meetings, held at 1 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month, are open to the public, and led by Chaplain Brad Auten and Amy Cardinale of Christian Care and Fellowship Square Phoenix.

Meetings will take place at the Oasis at Fellowship Square Phoenix Campus located at 11818 N. 19th Ave.

Designed for both caregivers and family members of those suffering from Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, the meetings will feature a variety of speakers including professional caregivers, psychologists, nurses and other experts in the Alzheimer’s field offering counsel and advice.
