If you’ve ever wanted to decorate your child’s bedroom wall with a beautiful mural but can’t afford to hire a muralist, then these upcoming art classes might just be your answer.

Instructor Dorota Lagida-Ostling will teach you what you need to know at the 19North Arts Center, 1820 W. Northern Ave.

Sponsored by the Phoenix Center for the Arts, “Painting for a Child’s Bedroom” classes include: Cats, Sunday, Nov. 4 ($50); Farm Animals, Sunday, Nov. 11 ($42); and Giraffes & Flamingos, Sunday, Nov. 18 ($42). Each class runs from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and provides instructions and materials including paints and brushes. No painting experience is required, and classes are open to ages 16 and older. Take what you learn home with you and decorate that empty wall.
