The best creative minds who live, work, and play in the Sunnyslope area are will have their work on display during the first-ever “Open Studio Tour,” 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

The tour will feature 12 art studios, 16 artists plus five unique specialty businesses. The spaces will be open to the public with numerous live demonstrations during the day. At each studio, the artist will curate a selection of his or her artwork for a special one-day sale.

Discover pockets of treasure hidden in plain sight in the emerging Sunnyslope “artists colony.” Experience sculptors, painters, ceramicists, potters, retro fashion creators, pastel artists, printmakers, and musicians. Delight your palette with the culinary offerings of Little Miss Barbeque and Grinders Coffee, then quench your thirst at North Mountain Brewing.

Complete your day by discovering if you’ve won a piece of original art. Register at the artist studio and the drawing will take place as a Facebook live event at the Slopefest after party.

Maps for studios address are available at www.storybox.com. Follow the event on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
