“Making Faces” is a two-day workshop set for Saturdays, Aug. 11 and 25, at the Shemer Art Center, 5005 E. Camelback Road. This ceramic exploration of faces (human or animal) can be representational or as “fantastic.”

Participants will work in wet clay. and learn basic anatomy and proportions, slab building and modeling techniques. Their art will be glazed and fired.
