HALO Animal Rescue has received a new $12,060 grant from PetSmart Charities. The grant has been earmarked to support staff and volunteer training so the organization can continue helping homeless pets in Arizona.

HALO Animal Rescue’s shelter operations grant is designed to enhance standardization and convenience of staff and volunteer training. The grant funds a new online learning management system that will include videos and quizzes for a range of topics from animal safety to adoption counseling.

Once the system is launched, new volunteers will also be able to complete volunteer orientation online.
