Residents are invited to take part in a brand-new program, WalkPHX Wednesdays, that offers a free social/walk run through downtown Phoenix.

This program launches on Wednesday, March 14 and will take place from 5:15-7:15 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at Margaret T. Hance Park, with free parking available at 67 W. Culver St.

WalkPHX Wednesdays takes you on a 3.2-mile loop through downtown Phoenix, and through three Phoenix parks. Each park location has a mapped walking path with signage that lets you know exactly where to start and just how far you go.

Enjoy rotating food trucks and get a delicious taste of local food, while socializing with other community members who are trying to get fit and healthy just like you.

Visit https://apm.activecommunities.com/phoenix/Home, click on memberships (yellow menu bar at top) to sign up for your free WalkPHX membership, and also from the home page, put activity number 22536 in the search box to sign up for the WalkPHX Wednesdays program at Hance Park.
