Some furry friends are in forever homes now thanks in part to Desert Financial Credit Union.

In honor of the 15 teachers who began the credit union 80 years ago, the organization recently sponsored 15 pet adoption fees for animals out of the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope campus. Animals were chosen by their age and because they had been at the center for a long time. Desert Financial Credit Union noted the support with “Random Acts of Kindness” stickers it provided, aligning with the organization’s mission of spreading kindness around the Valley.

The credit union also donated to support the Humane Society’s spay/neuter services, contributing a total of $5,000.
