North Central residents are invited to have fun and learn more about their local businesses and resources at ’Slope Fest 2019, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Palma Park, northeast corner of 12th Street and Dunlap Avenue.

Enjoy food trucks, bounce houses, games for the kids, raffles from local businesses and live music. Exhibitors include animal rescue organizations, Sunnyslope area businesses, nonprofit organizations, and more. The Phoenix Police Department will VIN etch your bicycle and also register it with the department in case it ever gets stolen.

State and local elected officials will be represented, and free health screenings offered. United Blood Services will have its Blood Mobile on site for donations; make an appointment ahead of time at https://bit.ly/2Yd4PJt.

You also will be able to purchase low-cost produce from the Farm Express mobile market; cash, credit/debit and SNAP/EBT accepted.
