Longtime North Central resident Shannon Moss admits she has a sweet tooth. And one of the things this mother of three often craved was a delicious frozen banana. But even in the Arizona heat, when cool treats are in demand, frozen bananas were hard to find.

So she started making them at home, sharing with friends and family. And pretty soon she realized she had a great business idea. Thus, Shanny’s Gourmet Frozen Bananas was born.

You can find her customized vintage trailer at the Uptown Farmers Market on Saturdays. The trailer is stocked with a variety of dipped frozen bananas, covered in real chocolate and a variety of toppings. Moss has expanded her business to include small-batch ice cream and cold brew coffee. Purchase the ice cream by the pint, or a scoop on a cone or in a sundae.

Moss brings her trailer to private events, offers local delivery, and you can order her products through Uber Eats.
