Chicken and beer will come together at a downtown festival that is the first of its kind in the state

Fried Chicken and Beer – Chimac Festival will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, at The Pressroom, 441 W. Madison St. Chimac is a Korean word that means the pairing of fried chicken and beer. More than 12 local fried chicken eateries will serve their food at this festival. There will be Korean and Nashville Hot fried chicken as well as chicken served in other cultural, creative ways.

The cost is $8 for general admission, $13 for early admission (to get in at 10:30 a.m.), $4 for children ages 7 to 12 years old, and free for those ages 6 and under. Fees are not included in the prices.
