If you love chicken wings, you might want to flock to Arizona Wingfest on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Margaret T. Hance Park.

The festival celebrates chicken wings, beer and music and will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the park at 67 W. Culver St. More than 25 restaurants have been invited, along with five food trucks and a local brewery. There will be a battle for the best chicken wing in four categories: best BBQ, hottest, most creative and overall best. People also can engage in friendly competition with wing-eating contests. One contest is to see who can eat the most chicken wings in 60 seconds and the other will determine who can eat the hottest wings.

A DJ and live band will perform on the Wingfest stage and attendees can cool off with juices and ice cream sold at the event. General admission tickets are $15 each and available online and at the gate. To buy tickets and register for the contests, visit wingfestarizona.com.
