LUNAFEST will highlight the talents of female filmmakers from around the globe while helping to transform the lives of local women during a virtual film festival at 4 p.m on Sunday, Aug. 2, and Monday, Aug. 3.

Watch seven, short films ranging from animation to drama made by women filmmakers during this virtual event hosted by Soroptimist International of Phoenix. This event was postponed from its original date in April at Madison Center for the Arts due to COVID-19.

All proceeds from LUNAFEST will benefit Soroptimist International of Phoenix, whose mission is to empower girls and women by offering access to and support of their educational objectives, as well as Chicken & Egg Pictures, a non-profit organization that supports female, non-fiction filmmakers. The cost is $20 per household.
