Music Works offers piano, theory classes

Keep children engaged in music this summer and fall with piano lessons through Music Works Community of Teachers.

The school at 302 W. Bethany Home Road is accepting new students and providing a Virtual Musicianship Lab, which is an online program in theory and ear training with music activities for piano players of all levels. This program is open to students who are enrolled in lessons already.

Music Works also provides piano lessons this summer through Aug. 8 and is enrolling students for its fall classes.

The fall PRELUDE classes will begin Aug. 26. The goal is to have these fall classes inside the studio, as long as it is safe to do so. These classes will have a maximum of four students per class in order to practice social distancing due to COVID-19. The PRELUDE small group classes are for children in preschool through first grade. Classes for other ages also will begin again for the fall on Aug. 10.
