Several local businesses and non-profit organizations are receiving recognition for their accomplishments and positive impact on the community and economy.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber recently announced the winners of its 34th Annual IMPACT Awards. They were selected from more than 100 businesses that were nominated for this distinction.

In the category of “Large Business,” for organizations with more than 250 employees, the Boys & Girls Club of the Valley received the Community Champion award. This organization has its Harry & Sandy Rosenzweig Branch Phoenix at 2242 W. Missouri Ave.

Also in North Central, a finalist for the 2021 IMPACT Awards was Fennemore Craig, which has a location at 2394 E. Camelback Road. Shamrock Foods Company, which has an office at 3900 E. Camelback Road, also was a finalist for an award.

The two 2021 IMPACT Businesses of the Year recipients will be chosen out of the honorees during the virtual 34th Annual IMPACT Awards Ceremony from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 13. It costs $55 per person for Chamber members to view the event and $110 for non-members. To register, visit https://business.phoenixchamber.com/events/details/2021-impact-awards-6274.
