If you are looking for a way to relax and enjoy positive vibes with others, a local venue might be the ideal place to visit.

Sound bath sessions will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. and then from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, at The Churchill at 901 N. 1st St. These sessions will be delivered again from 8 to 9 a.m. and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26, at The Churchill. Sound bowl healing is a practice in which sounds are used to create different frequencies that vibrate in bodies and help guide people to a meditative, restorative state. Studies have shown that sounds frequencies can produce changes in the immune, autonomic, endocrine and neuropeptide systems. Sound has the capability and potential of impacting the nervous system, as well as helping to still the mind.

Participants should bring a yoga mat and blanket and wear comfortable clothes. The sessions cost $35 per person.
