You can bring your children ages 12 to 15 to Walgreens pharmacies to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine.

The drugstore and pharmacy chain announced last month that after receiving authorization by the FDA and final guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) it could begin offering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to those ages 12 to 15. This marks another milestone in the fight to end the pandemic.

People seeking a vaccine for their 12 to 15-year-old children can schedule appointments at www.walgreens.com/schedulevaccine or by calling 1-800-Walgreens (925-4733) to listen to options in English and Spanish. Walgreens provides same-day appointments, as well as walk-in appointments if a time slot is available. Parents or guardians can use Walgreens guest scheduling functionality to make an appointment for their children if they are 12 years old. Youths ages 13 to 15 can make the appointments themselves.
